この前、某有名体操選手を特集するテレビ番組で、その方の体力の限界に挑む姿を見てとても魅了されました。 一生懸命に困難を乗り越えながら戦う姿勢に胸を打たれますよね･･･

そうです！オリンピック3大会に出場し個人総合2連覇、そして世界体操競技選手権でも個人総合で6連覇(世界最多)を成し遂げたあの日本のプロ体操競技選手は皆さんご存知かと思います。

そこで、今回は「体操競技(Artistic Gymnastics)に頻出の英単語と英文例」についてわかりやすく写真付きでご紹介していきます。

体操競技(Artistic Gymnastics)の種目や技と英語表現

体操の競技種目と体操の競技種目についてですが、男子種目別では、ゆか/あん馬/つり輪/跳馬/平行棒/鉄棒の６種目、女子種目別では、ゆか/跳馬/段違い平行棒/平均台の４種目で個人戦と団体戦が行われる。男子と女子で「ゆかと跳馬」が共通の種目のようです。
