慶弔見舞金とは
慶弔見舞金とは、お祝い事や不幸等の従業員のライフイベントに対して会社から見舞金として社内規程で定められた金額が支払われます。あくまでも、法定外福利厚生であるため慶弔見舞金の給付は会社独自のものになります。
慶弔見舞金の種類は、主に
- 従業員の結婚時に支給される「結婚祝金」
- 従業員または配偶者の出産時に支給される「出産祝金」
- 従業員の死亡時に支給される「弔慰金」
- 病気や怪我による欠勤または入院時に支給される「傷病見舞金」
- 自然災害時に支給される「災害見舞金」
等があります。
その他にも、ユニークな見舞金制度や福利厚生を導入している企業もあるようで、例えば「最新デバイス購入支援制度」や「ペット弔慰金」、最近では「在宅勤務手当」等もその一つになりますね。
慶弔見舞金の英語表現
今では外資系のみならず日本企業でも日英の社内規定に慶弔見舞金についての記載があるかと思います。慶弔見舞金は就業規則(Employee Handbook)で定められた従業員に対するベネフィットになります。

結婚祝金の英語表現
結婚祝金は、英語でCongratulatory allowances for marriageと言います。
✅When an employee marry, congratulatory allowances for marriage of 40,000 yen shall be provided upon the request of the eligible employee.
☑従業員が結婚した際に、当該者の申請により4万円の結婚祝金を支給する。
出産祝金の英語表現
出産祝金は、英語でCongratulatory allowance for childbirthと言います。
✅When an employee or his/her spouse gives birth to a child, congratulatory allowance for childbirth of 30,000 yen as per child shall be provided upon the request of the eligible employee.
☑従業員または配偶者が出産した際に、当該者の申請により4万円の結婚祝金を支給します。
弔慰金の英語表現
弔慰金は、英語でcondolence allowanceと言います。
✅In the event of the death of an employee or his/her family member(s), condolence allowance shall be provided.
☑従業員またはその家族が死亡した際に、弔慰金が支給されます。
災害見舞金の英語表現
災害見舞金は、英語でCondolence allowance for disastersと言います。
✅When the house where an employee lives is damaged by disaster such as fire, storm, flood, earthquake and so on, Condolence allowance for disasters shall be provided.
☑従業員の住居が火災、風災、水害や自身等の災害で損害を被る際に災害見舞金が支払われます。
✅The amount of Condolence allowance shall depend on the damage level as follows.
(1) The house completely destroyed/burnt(100,000 yen)
(2) The house damaged by more than 1/3 or flooding above floor level (50,000 yen)
☑災害見舞金の金額は被害の程度によります。
(1)住居の全壊または全焼(10万円)
(2)住居三分の一の破壊または床上浸水(5万円)
